The recording, taken amid last month’s incident that resulted in the death of one of 15 Palestinian medics, shows members of the Red Crescent and Civil Defense controlling their pace as they drive with lights flashing and identifiable logos. Approaching an ambulance that had come under fire earlier, three medics calmly disembark to provide assistance. Soon after, their vehicles are hit by sustained gunfire lasting more than five minutes with occasional brief pauses. This visual evidence raises questions about previous assertions that the vehicles did not signal distress during the attack.
